How does ThermiVa work?
FemiLift uses CO2 laser technology to gently heat vaginal tissue, which contracts existing fibers and stimulates the formation of new collagen. This leads to the overall tightening of the vagina as well as producing support for the bottom of the bladder, which helps with urinary incontinence. We are treating women of all ages who are finding success with our FemiLift treatment. It’s perfect for women who suffer from mild incontinence, looseness, or decreased sensation with sex, due to childbirth, age, or other reasons that diminish their confidence and self-esteem.
Provide personal testimonial: “I had the treatment myself after I had my children. It has really transformed my life, and I’ve been telling all my girlfriends that they need it, too!”
Does it hurt/is there any downtime?
Our patients say they feel comfortable and relaxed during the treatment. Some even say that the treatment is more comfortable than having a Pap smear! The procedure is painless, but we can provide you with a topical anesthetic if needed.
There is no downtime, so you can return to normal, daily activities following your procedure. However, sexual intercourse should be avoided for 5 days post-treatment.
How many sessions are required?
Each patient experiences a different level of laxity, but we recommend three treatments spaced about four weeks apart for optimal results. It’s also recommended to have a once-yearly maintenance treatment thereafter.
How much does a FemiLift package cost?
Pricing for FemiLift can vary based on your needs, so our FemiLift specialist/physician can best evaluate your total package cost during your consultation when they assess your needs.(If applicable) We do offer patient financing plans if you are interested in this.
What is the difference between FemiLift and ThermiVa?
Both the FemiLift and ThermiVA treatments will help your vaginal tissues to be strengthened, tightened, and appear more youthful. Both treatments will also help you to experience more sexual gratification, have greater confidence in your most sensitive of areas, and help to reduce stress incontinence. The major differences between the two treatments are the following:
- The FemiLift utilizes a fractional CO2 laser
- The FemiLift treats internally in 360°, applying laser technology to your internal tissues
- ThermiVA treatments utilize radio frequency waves on both your internal and external vaginal tissues
